the first number tat will appear is 2001
change it for 2010 |

That works for regular EHM.
The OP wants to know how to change the year for NHL EHM, which despite everyone's hex-editing efforts appears to be unmodifiable.
As an aside, it seems some people have now possibly found how to edit the hex file in order to swap rule-sets between leagues at least.
