My wife started a small Yahoo keeper league last year on a whim and it actually was quite a bit of fun. Most of the GM's have eagerly returned for another go, but we have 2 that have dropped off the face of the earth unfortunately.

This means we have 2 openings that a new GM could step into and choose their keepers from the existing rosters. Teams are carrying over a max of 4 Keepers from last year. The two open teams both definitely have some keeper-worthy players to build from, and there are quite a few young players that will be unprotected for the draft as well (for instance I didn't protect Stamkos from last year).

Here are highlights of the two open rosters of guys that might be considered for Keepers from the 2 rosters:

This is a Points league, not Roto or Head-to-Head, but straight Points. My wife started this league because she hates Plus/Minus for fantasy hockey and wanted to try one where it wasn't a factor, so Plus/Minus is not a category. Most of the rest is fairly default and straight-forward scoring-wise, and there aren't a ton of categories to worry about either.

If you sign up please post a Hello on the league board, and then email the commish (M_K) and let her know which team you'd like to take over, and then which keepers you want so she can flag them.

The draft (a Live Draft) is this coming weekend, so there's not a lot of time. The live draft does not conflict with the Official FHockey Pool one.
